Centered in the love of God in Jesus and gathered as siblings in Christ, inclusive of age, ethnicity, race, ability, faith background, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, we invite, welcome, and affirm all who come here, as they are. We reflect God’s love for all of God’s children by building a community that feels like home – where all are accepted, known, treated with respect and dignity, and also challenged to grow. This growth includes working toward equity of all kinds including gender and racial equity. We nurture faith, equipping individuals and the church body to be sent out into the world to meet needs, change lives, and restore hope in our homes, congregation, and communities.
We acknowledge that some individuals and groups have historically been hurt, excluded, and discriminated against by the church and by society. We commit to responding to God’s call for reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-18). We encourage you to bring all of who you are – all you think and feel and believe and embody. Come with all your brilliance and brokenness. Welcome home.
