Jesus instructs us to “love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12). Summer is a great time to shine God’s light and share God’s love in our families, neighborhoods, sports teams, communities and beyond! On this Faith-to-Go page you will find ideas for spreading kindness, cultivating compassion, and living by the “Platinum Rule.” How will you use the gifts God has given to you to love and serve in this season?

Read: 1 Peter 4:10: “Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help…”
Reflect: What are some of the things (talents, materials, etc.) God has given you? How could you share them with others, so they experience God’s love?
Pray: “Dear God, help me to recognize the gifts you’ve given to me, and to generously share them with people in my life. Amen.”
Bless: Trace a cross on each other’s shoulder, hand, or head and say “[Name], you are a beloved child of God.”
