Sent by the Spirit into Summer. Summer in Minnesota can mean visits to the park, weekends at the cabin, campfires, picnics, and more! As we venture to new places and explore the outdoors, we have many opportunities to practice our faith outside the walls of the church. On this page, find tools for reminding us that the Holy Spirit sends us out to love our neighbors and care for God’s creation – and that Jesus goes with us every day, everywhere.

Share: What were your high and low points today?
Read: John 20:21. “Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.’”
Reflect: Where will you go this summer? Maybe a park, family trip, soccer game, camp, child care? Whether you stick close to home or travel a long ways, how will you see and serve Jesus?
Pray: “Dear Jesus, help us to share your love, and remind us that you go with us wherever we are sent this summer! Amen.”
Bless: Trace a cross on each other’s shoulder, hand, or head and say “[Name], you are a beloved child of God.”
