September and October are the best times to get a flu shot, so your family will be protected when flu season starts. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a yearly flu vaccination for people 6 months and older. It’s especially important for those at high risk for developing flu-related complications including pregnant women, children under age 5, adults 65 years and older, and people with certain medical conditions. Check with your medical provider or pharmacist for scheduling a flu shot soon.
Stay healthy and safe this season!
