February is National Heart Disease prevention month, and coincidentally, Valentine’s Day is also in February. How do those two go together?
Many people call SOTV their “home away from home” but not everyone knows what goes on inside our walls each week. Here’s a quick look at the past week alone.
The Columbarium Committee is pleased to announce that between a slightly more scaled back version of Phase I construction plans and some generous donations, we are within 20 niches of meeting our goal! We hope to make a final decision by April 1st and then hopefully break ground yet this year.
At our Christmas Eve services, you helped raise over $8000 to fund a shelter for Dakota County. Here is a brief summary of this project so far.
We are looking for people from our congregation who are willing to help show care to others. There are a couple of very specific things you can do to show your friendliness.
At Shepherd of the Valley, we are addressing the topic of race because the Gospel of Jesus Christ commands us to love God and our neighbor, seeking to love and serve in all that we do.
The mission of the Racial Truth & Reconciliation Team is to educate and equip people in our congregation about issues of race and racial injustice.
We are so grateful for the generous gifts that this community gave around Christmas time. These gifts will make a huge difference in our local and global community.
