As the chartered partner for Boy Scout Troop 9290 for 29 years, SOTV has provided a meeting place for the troop and for many Chief Black Dog District advancement activities and dinners. June 9, 2019 marked the 50th Anniversary of the troop being chartered, with 114 of its scouts having earned Eagle Scout.

Throughout July, the SOTV Food Shelf is collecting paper products. Please bring any donations to the specified wooden box in the narthex. If you have any questions, please ask the Welcome Center volunteer. Tax donation slips should be located by the donation box.
Sunday, June 9 was Pentecost Sunday – a traditional day in the Christian church when diversity of languages and cultures is observed. This celebration celebrated God’s gift of cultural diversity and deepened our appreciation of the ethnic roots found within our faith community. People enjoyed displays of congregation member’s ethnic heritage and enjoyed Potter’s Pasties food truck
