Golden Stitchers (Article from December 2021 Newsletter)

The SOTV quilting group that meets on Thursdays, known as the Golden Stitchers, recently received a $250 Thrivent Grant. They made twin, lap, and baby quilts for Hennepin County Health, MN Lutheran Social Services, ELCA Global Mission (disaster response, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services with Lutheran World Relief), and the Ronald McDonald House. They used donated cloths (and share them with the SOTV Shepherd Quilters and Arms Full of Love — who makes items for children). Thank you to a dedicated group who supports our community! Serve Together 2021 Overview & Thank You

Thank you to all who volunteered or provided donations for our annual Serve Together event. The event was held on November 17, and was a huge success, with 303 individuals attending and over 300 donations (not including the overwhelming outpouring of food support). These donations will provide hope, healing, and joy to the various lives they touch.
