The SOTV quilting group that meets on Thursdays, known as the Golden Stitchers, recently received a $250 Thrivent Grant. They made twin, lap, and baby quilts for Hennepin County Health, MN Lutheran Social Services, ELCA Global Mission (disaster response, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services with Lutheran World Relief), and the Ronald McDonald House. They used donated cloths (and share them with the SOTV Shepherd Quilters and Arms Full of Love — who makes items for children). Thank you to a dedicated group who supports our community!
