We are looking for volunteers to serve as leaders, in collaboration with our Outreach Coordinator, to oversee

Annual School Supply Drive
- Work with area contacts to determine needs
- Work with SOTV staff to coordinate advertising and publicity
- Promote collections and needed supplies
- Work with SOTV Finance Department for funding and purchasing
- Oversee inventory of collected supplies
- Work with SOTV volunteers to pack and distribute supplies
- Volunteer recruiting and communication in collaboration with staff
Annual Winter Outerwear Drive
- Work with area contacts to determine needs
- Oversee collection and distribution process
- Collections run November 1 – December 31 with distribution starting in November and ending in January
- Work with SOTV staff to coordinate advertising and publicity
- Promote collections and work with SOTV groups and members who support this ministry
- Oversee inventory, sort, and distribute
- Work with volunteers to assist with sorting and distribution
- Volunteer recruiting and communication in collaboration with staff
- Work with SOTV Finance department on reporting
Annual Birthday Bag Collection
- Work with area contacts to determine needs
- Oversee collection and distribution process
- Work with SOTV staff to coordinate advertising and publicity
- Oversee inventory, sort, and distribute
- Work with volunteers to assist with sorting and distribution
- Volunteer recruiting and communication in collaboration with staff
Semi-Annual Red Cross Blood Drive
- Twice annually, collaborate with the American Red Cross and SOTV staff to establish on-site Blood Drives (Typically in January/February and August)
- Work with SOTV staff on publications, promotion, and advertising
- Coordinate volunteer roles and shifts (typically 6 volunteers for each day)
- Available on-site day of drive(s)
- Volunteer recruitment, communication, and on-site training in collaboration with the American Red Cross
- Work with local vendor for donations used to thank donors and volunteers
