Throughout December, the SOTV Food Shelf is collecting canned items. Here are some ideas:
- Luncheon meat (ex. Spam)
- Variety hearty soups
- Ravioli
- Beef stew
- Sloppy joe
- White canned beans
- Taco shells (hard)
- Refried beans
- Ro-Tel diced tomatoes
- Brown papers bags
Please bring any donations in a paper bag (preferably with handles) to SOTV while the building is open. Please check expiration dates; we cannot accept food that is expired. Thank you for your support!
Please Help Us Spread the Word
With increasing rates of food insecurity, you would think appointments at Shepherd of the Valley Food Shelf would be full. Yet, many appointment slots remain empty. Sadly, we know there are people out there who need our support. We are asking you to help spread the word about SOTV’s Food Shelf!
- Share the flyer (post it at your workplace if appropriate)
- Send this link (sotv.org/foodshelf) to family and friends for details about the Food Shelf appointment openings
