Contrary to how our culture celebrates, December 25 is only just the beginning of the Christmas Season! So before you take down your tree and drop the carols from your playlist, use the twelve days (from December 25—January 5) to reflect on God’s birth among us, as one of us, as Jesus. Like all who were present at the manger scene, we too are invited to help “give birth” to a world filled with God’s grace and love.
Parents, use your own discretion when it comes to your kids. If content is rated for certain ages then we will indicate that. Enjoy!
Share: What were your high and low points today?
Read: Luke 2:16-18a: “So they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the child lying in the manger. When they saw this, they made known what had been told them about this child; and all who heard it were amazed…”
Reflect: What would you want to tell someone about Jesus?
Pray: “Dear Jesus, help us to not move past Christmas too quickly. May we notice each day where you appear to us; and in our actions toward others may they feel your love. Amen.”
Bless: Trace a cross on each other’s shoulder, hand, or head and say “[Name], you are a beloved child of God.”
