(2019) Sign-up to help a family or individual in need this holiday season through our Christmas Gift Giving program. We have several different shopping programs or you can give a monetary donation.
MONETARY PROGRAMS
Monetary donations can be dropped off at SOTV anytime throughout November and December.
- Tanzania Partnership:
SOTV works shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in Christ in rural Tanzania for evangelism, education, healthcare, and economic development. Your gifts support 60 children ages 5 – 16 living at Huruma [Mercy] Orphanage and a goat project for the evangelists serving the 20+ villages that comprise Tungamalenga, Makifu, and Usolanga Parishes. Asante sana [Thank you very much]! - Camp Wapo:
Over the past 10 years, 3,130 adults and youth from SOTV have used Wapogasset Bible Camp Ministries. Their mission: “Places of Grace forming people of faith.” Wapo plans to build a facility that will serve as the center of hospitality, community, and fellowship for the ministry of Wapo. Let’s give back to this life-changing ministry so they can shape more lives in the future. - Local Hunger:
These funds are used to support a variety of SOTV’S hunger ministries. Currently, both the SOTV Food Shelf and The Sheridan Story at Falcon Ridge are in great need of financial support. We put weekend food in students’ lockers at Falcon Ridge and purchase food for the 43 families we serve each week at the Food Shelf. Your gift will allow these ministries to continue giving food to local families and children in need. - Kids ‘n Kinship:
Their goal is to match k ids in need of an adult role model with a caring volunteer at no cost to the family. This means that they do not charge the family of the youth, nor the mentors, any fee whatsoever. In order to accomplish this, they need donations to support program expenses such as: volunteer screening and training, child intake, home visits, and quarterly events. SOTV has committed to sponsoring at least one adult mentor/child relationship per year.
