Rehearsal: Sundays from 10:45 – 11:00 am
This new Pre-K-K choir will sing fun songs while learning music fundamentals. There will be lots of movement to music in this energetic group! Our youngest singers will grow in their faith in a positive environment and have opportunities to sing at worship services and the holiday concert at SOTV.
Kindergarten students may sing in both JOY and Cherub choir. This group will sing at the Sounds of the Season concert and at the 9:45 service 3-4 times a year.
Rehearsal: Wednesdays from 5:00 – 5:30 pm
Cherub choir provides a fun, positive environment. Singers will continue learning music fundamentals and begin learning proper vocal technique as they sing songs of praise at worship services one time a month and sing in the holiday concert at SOTV.
If your child would like to sing in Cherub choir but cannot attend on Wednesday nights at 5:00 PM, please contact Kari Anderson. An additional Sunday rehearsal from 11:00-11:30 am is being considered.
Rehearsal: Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:00 pm
Celebration choir will continue learning music fundamentals and proper vocal technique skills while praising God in a fun and positive environment. These singers will have leadership opportunities as they assist the director in creating choreography and model excellence in group singing. Small group and solo opportunities are available to this choir as they lead worship once a month and participate in the annual holiday concert at SOTV.
Rehearsal: Wednesdays from 4:00 – 4:30 pm
This group of singers will be singing more challenging music and sing in parts.
They will help to lead worship at the 8:30 and 9:45 services once a month. They will also be featured at the Sounds of the Season concert, and will sing at the morning Christmas Eve service.
