Our Daily Bread Food Shelf 

SOTV has partnered with
360 Communities in operating a food shelf that is housed right here at our church.

TO GIVE: To donate to Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church's Our Daily Bread food shelf, go to the church at 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road in Apple Valley. The church has food donation bins in its lobby.

In August we’ll be holding a food drive. In preparation, we need large paper grocery bags – preferably with handles. Bags like those from Target work the best, but we’ll use any paper grocery bag. Please leave bags on the shelves outside the Table.

If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up and pick up the necessary forms at the Welcome Center. Additional shifts were recently added for the summer months that may work better for some schedules.

Golf for the Good Fundraiser/ 18 Hole Scramble/ Dinner / Raffle

 Do you need to be a good golfer to golf in Golf for the Good? No, the popular fall fundraiser is open to golfers of ALL skill levels.

· 1:00 PM: Golf Tournament at Southern Hills Golf Course in Farmington (registration begins at 11:45 AM)

· 6:15 PM: Banquet Dinner at Shepherd of the Valley includes a raffle for valuable items (including dinners with the pastors- and the pastors are not cooking!) and prizes will be awarded to the golfers.

Costs:
18 hole scramble & banquet: $70 / person

Banquet only: $20 adults / $10 children (K-12th grade)

Participants will take part in choosing the ministry event proceeds will benefit: Tungamalenga Partnership, Community Meals, Caring for Creation, Military Family Support, Caring Ministries, and Hurricane Relief.

· Purchase an “honor sponsorship” for $75—A recognition sign will be placed on a hole to celebrate your anniversary, birth of child, etc

· Sponsor a hole—Gold sponsor: $300;
Silver sponsor: $250; Bronze Sponsor: $200;
Hole Sponsor: $100

· Donate a raffle or prize item:: gift certificates, event tickets, or new items
