Special Services
Come Worship as
a Family
Weekend of September 6 & 7
A Blessing of Children who are beginning their
school year will be held at each worship service the
weekend of September 6 & 7. Children will be invited
forward during “Good News for Children” for a message,
blessing, and a gift that symbolizes God’s presence,
with home faith-connection ideas handed out for all
families.
Healing Service
Tuesday, October 7 at 7:00 PM
At this congregational-wide healing service, each
participant will be given the opportunity to receive a
personal blessing from a pastor or parish nurse, if
desired. No registration is necessary.
Come
and receive prayer for personal healing, whether
physical, mental, spiritual, relational, grief-related
or financial. We will offer worship, thoughts on
healing, testimonies, a chance for you to light a candle
or wrap yourself in a prayer shawl. You may even take a
shawl home with you.
Service of Remembrance
Sunday, November 2 at 5:00 PM
The focus of this special service is honoring loved
ones who have died.
Through
proclaiming the promise of eternal life through Our
Lord, by the lighting of candles in honor of those who
have died and naming aloud the names of the deceased
loved ones, this worship service seeks to be a time of
healing and hope for those who grieve.
